"I find it hard not to tell a story with my art. There is always an underlying tale there. It is up to the viewer to determine what that tale is. If they come up with their own scenario, that is even better. Art should draw it's viewer in. I strive constantly to speak to my audience through my art. Some of my art is esoteric but not often. Most of it has a surreal or spiritual nature in spite of it's obvious content. Once in a while I am simply playing with colors or forms but that is also a spiritual thing. The mind is spiritual. Thoughts are not tangible they belong in the spiritual realm. Art is thoughts. My art speaks to the spirit even if it is not a particularily pleasant or accepted idea. I believe all art falls into the spiritual realm."
