Bernice Greenberg
I attended Tyler School of Fine Art in Philadelphia,
and graduated from Teachers College, Columbia
University in 1944 with a BS in Art and Education.
My love of art began in early childhood and
increased as the years went by.
For twenty five years I taught art in an elementary
school from kindergarten to sixth grade. During
that time I pursued my desire to paint and exhibit.
My work has been exhibited in galleries in NYC, and
a museum on Long Island and it hangs on the walls
of numerous clients.
I never stopped studying. I have had shows
featuring cloisonne jewelry I designed and
fabricated as well as etchings, sculpture and
ceramics. I received an MS in Art and Education
from Queens College, NY.
After retiring, I loved teaching children privately.
Five years ago I traded in my easel and canvas for a
computer and Corel Painter for brushes, paints, and
so much more. It has been a period of exploration,
challenge and satisfaction. I am fortunate to have
had the opportunity to be part of the digital age.
