David Zelenka began developing interactive media in 1993 under the company name Interactive Earth. Since that time he has developed web sites, graphic design, educational materials and released books that reflect the great creativity evident in both human endeavor and the natural world.

The designs are based on phyllotaxis spirals and loosely on Fibonacci's sequence. The pattern generator is available for users online. As you walk through the three-dimensional sine wave (helix) you will notice that most permutations consist of 'white noise'. Every so often, a shape will appear within the dots pattern. This shape is a harmony of the sine-based 'spray' of interacting dots.
